Multicultural Programs

The Beacon Multicultural Programs are identity-based student organizations that offer students a safe space to share and develop their culture and identity. They provide leadership training, program development support, and a variety of workshops so that student leaders can share their cultural awareness and identity with pride throughout the school and city-wide.

Our programs change from year to year, based on student involvement and engagement. In the past we have supported Tinikling, a traditional Pilipino dance program, Lion Dance, and the Uke Club.   The following is a list of our currently active programs. If you are interested in starting a new one, joining an active club, or reviving a former program please contact the Beacon at 415.750.8554.
