The mission of the Richmond District Neighborhood Center is to nurture a diverse urban community by developing and providing high quality youth, adult and family programs that address critical community needs and foster respect for all people in our environment.

The Richmond Village Beacon (RVB) provides a safe, fun and supportive environment in the Richmond District for all youth and adults to explore and reach their full potential through youth development programming, supportive services and adult enrichment activities in a school based setting. Programming is grounded in the principles of self-determination, cultural and economic diversity, and community building.

The Richmond District After School Collaborative (RDASC) provides youth and their families with affordable after school environments that are safe, fun, art enriching, academically enhancing and culturally relevant.

The Multicultural Children’s Art Program (MCAP) engages youth ages 6-12, and their families, in diverse and culturally rich art experiences. MCAP celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Congratulations!
