With after school programs for youth, free classes in Yoga and Tai Chi, weekend Art classes for families, a youth-led Food Pantry, and free English classes for immigrants, we improve your quality of life in the Richmond District.

 

 

 

 

  • Enroll your child in an after school program: on April 5th, RDASC applications for 2010-2011 school year and summer programs will be available!

  • Register by phone for Winter Art Workshops on December 19, 2009 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm
         This winter, we are celebrating the arts of Southeast Asia with workshops for
         children ages 6-12 inspired by traditional and contemporary art forms from
         the Philippines, India, Japan, Indonesia, and more! Phone registration only for

  • Richmond Village Beacon Center is starting a Knitting Circle! 
         Beginning December 9 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm, we are offering you and your neighbors a
         new class on Knitting, Crocheting, and Needle Point. This free weekly Knitting Circle
         is located at the Richmond Village Beacon Center at George Washington High School,
         and is only one of many free adult and senior programs we offer to the community.

  • San Francisco Public Library at the Richmond District Neighborhood Center 

          During the Anza Branch Library's two-year renovation, weekly Storytime happens at our
          Center. Bring your preschooler or toddler to Richmond District Neighborhood Center
          to hear stories from children's librarian Monica Mitchell. Preschool Storytime takes place
          on Tuesdays at 10:30 am and Toddler Tales happens on Thursdays at 10:30 am.
